I can't remember the last time I had been in Lush, and someone recently recommended to me Eau Rome. I have my eye on a mineral powder foundation, which looks reaaaally good, the bad thing it's I have to get it on the Internet and comes from the USA, so it's going to be a few weeks until I can tell you about it. The thing is that the person who recommended it to me told me that if my skin is dry, even though this base is comfortable and doesn't look cakey or drying, I may want to try some hydrating mist on my face after applying it; I ask which one was good and she told me about this Lush toner. I love the subtle smell and the ingredients on it, plus it leaves a fresh and nice feeling on the skin. I picked up the small version to see how my skin likes it, but I'm afraid I will go back for the big bottle.
Before heading to the store, I was looking through the website, I love spending money on this stuff, and I lost track of the brand since I don't have a bathtub anymore, my soul is in pain everytime I see the bath bombs. I got into the perfume section and this one really caught my attention: jasmine, ylang ylang, rose, vanilla, sandalwood. Maybe it's not your thing, but I love a strong perfume. I smelled it in the store and I wasn't disappointed. I was going for the solid version, which I think it's really comfortable, but as the shop assistant said (nicest guy ever, btw) it's more intimate, people around you may not notice it. And I'm sorry but I want people to smell my perfume, plain as that. So I went for the 10ml bottle. I know these scents are not everyone's piece of cake, but I think it'a sexy and unique. The description claims "A powerful, unadulterated and sexy jasmine perfume. This delivers a long-lasting floral hit onto the skin, for those days (or nights) when you want to tempt and tantalise".
And the bottle is gorgeous, tiny and portable, but definetly it's not an everyday perfume, I see it as a night scent, really special.
They are including more fragances, so keep an eye on them!
They also gave me three samples of facial treatment: Angels On Bare Skin (face and body cleanser), Celestial (face cream) and Enchanted Eye Cream (eye cream).
Angels On Bare Skin looks amazing, the shop assistant told me it's gentle enough to use everyday. I can believe it, with those nice ingredients, and I'm pretty sure I'll buy it next time I visit.
I don't have an eye cream (!!!!, I know!!!) and I'm looking for a hydrating but not sticky one, and as natural as possible, so let's see how this one works for me. Both this and the face cream have alcohol, but that is not necessarily bad in non-sensitive skin, besides if you click on the ingredient, you can read information about it, in case you want to know more (these Lush people, they are really on top of everything!)
I also saw Full of Grace serum, which looks like a little bit goes a long way, and I can see it becoming an essential for the winter time.
Also, they gave me a super interesting a catalog, in which they talk about alternatives to animal testing, as you might know, Lush doesn't test on them and leads campaings against it; about sulphates miths in shampoos (I will talk about it soon in a blog post) and about adopting animals.
¿Qué productos chachis me recomendáis de Lush? ¿Habéis probado éstos?
